You are buying an original work of art . These panels are created from antique Japanese kimono fabrics - silk, wool and cottons, as well as furoshiki and  tenugui materials.

They are all unique and inspired by the amazing graphics found in traditional kimono fabrics, which are generally worn once or twice in a lifetime and remain on a shelf unseen the remainder of the time.

I began collecting antique kimono and creating these panels in 2000 and they have hung in several venues here in Tokyo, in the Aoyama and Omotosando areas, and have sold worldwide.

Each is unique. They require no framing as they are mounted on wooden frames - the fabric wraps around on all 4 sides - so they arrive ready to hang. Since it is very difficult to purchase original artwork online, mainly because pictures never do the piece justice I offer buyers a full refund - sans shipping fees.
